Heidelberg, June 27, 2019 – American Eagle introduces Quik-Tip™, a collection of environmentally friendly prophylaxis instruments. The product line combines specially designed handles with exchangeable tips. When these become unusable, only they are replaced instead of the entire instrument. The sustainable concept saves resources, reduces waste and minimizes costs.

The handles are available in three versions and seven colours, therefore many individual models can be created. This also simplifies the identification by user, treatment room or area of application. Quik-Tips are obtainable for scalers, curettes and Gracey curettes, either in Talon Tough stainless steel or in sharpen-free American Eagle XP^® technology. The XP^® alloy makes the working ends extremely hard and resistant. They keep their sharp cutting edges and are always ready to use. Especially comfortable is the Pro Thin variant with extra-fine tips. They ensure a remarkably gentle treatment and optimum access to deep periodontal pockets.

Heidelberg, May 28, 2019 – Seeing the dentist can be stressful for children. Zooby® has developed a range of products that help young patients to feel more comfortable in the practice. Pediatric bibs with colourful animal motifs are the latest addition to the product line.

They create a cheerful atmosphere and children can use them to dress up as a zebra, penguin, tiger, leopard, or flamingo. This reduces fear, promotes cooperation, and distracts them from technology, strangers, and unfamiliar noises and odours. Positively tuned, they can be optimally cared for, and the practice remains in good memory. The non-permeable disposable bibs are available in packs of a hundred each.

The Zooby® collection was developed specifically for young patients, as individual prophylaxis should start with the deciduous teeth to avoid cavities. Heidelberg, February 7, 2019 – At the IDS, the dental group Young Innovations will present its extensive product range with the brands American Eagle, Young, Microbrush^®, DryTips^® and Zooby^®.

American Eagle Instruments will focus on the XP^® collection. The innovative periodontal instruments retain their shape and functionality throughout their entire service life and do not require sharpening – this saves valuable time and reduces the risk of injury. The extra-thin work ends also facilitate access to interdental spaces and periodontal pockets, making therapy particularly gentle. With the constantly sharp blades, calculus is no longer abrasively chipped away but gently shaved off, enabling the practitioner to reduce the force required and therefore retain the tactile sensitivity. The XP^® series is always ready to use, very durable and therefore cost-effective.

The new Galaxy instrument cassettes simplify the thorough cleaning and effective sterilization of hand instruments. They are available in three ISO Norm sizes, are equipped with food-safe silicone rails and are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. The unique design guarantees the stability and strength of the case while protecting the high quality equipment. A laser-cut pattern optimizes water flow and increases efficiency in the RDG/thermal disinfector, rounded edges and slotted corners reduce drying time. The lock is operated with just one hand, the color-coded silicone rails can be placed variably and are compatible with all common handle diameters.

This shortens their shelf life because they lose not only substance but also their original shape.
